
Robbie Williams has confirmed he will appear on the new series of The X Factor.
It is thought the singer, 35, will act as a mentor during one of the live shows.
'You may have read news about Robbie appearing on the new series of The X Factor,' reads a statement on his website. 'Well, we're very excited to tell you that this is true!
'Details are still being finalised so make sure you stay tuned for further announcements.
'As soon as we're able to tell you more, we'll let you know right here.'
Madonna, 50, is also tipped to appear on the ITV show.
Last year, Beyoncé Knowles, 27, helped attract 15million viewers when she duetted with winner Alexandra Burke, 21, during the final.
