Kelly Osbourne: Mum would be great on Strictly Come Dancing

Sharon Osbourne quit The X Factor last year because she couldn’t get along with Dannii Minogue

Kelly Osbourne is keen for her mum Sharon to appear on Strictly Come Dancing.

The TV star thinks Mrs O, 56, would be a strong competitor on the BBC show.

‘Mum’s in talks about Strictly, but it’s not decided yet,’ Kelly tells the Daily Mail.

‘Not many people know that she used to go to the Italia Conti stage school, and she’s a really good dancer. It’d be a really good opportunity for her to show people what she can do.

‘People think of her as a tough character, but she’s a lovely, happy and fun stage-school girl.’

Alesha Dixon, 30, has now been confirmed as the new Stictly judge, replacing Arlene Phillips, 66.
