Susan Boyle's songs have been praised by Simon Cowell.

The judge has been working with the Britain's Got Talent star, 48, in the studio.

‘She sounds fantastic on record,’ says Simon, 49. ‘It's not all going to be show tunes. It's not an obvious record but so far, it's good.

‘She's got a really good recording voice and I'm going to take my time. She's happy and I think she's enjoying the process.’

Meanwhile, Simon has rubbished reports he’s going to quit The X Factor after the next series.

‘Nothing is going to change,’ he tells the Daily Record. ‘We are going to keep all the partnerships.

'We get on well with everybody and no one is going to fall out.’

susan has a beautiful recording voice i hope she sings more of the popular songs her voice is perfect for them i hope she breaks all records and makes a fortune she deserves it !!!!!!

SUPER that Susan has begun her recording. I don't care WHAT she sing; I will buy her CDs! What an amazing voice from a beautiful lady! Hope to have her visit us in America soon! Thanks for this report.
