Sandi Thom had surgery to remove mysterious lumps from her head on Wednesday. 

The singer, 27, was treated at a London hospital for an unspecified condition.

'Just got out of the hospital with a head full of stitches, feeling pretty groggy but glad that it's over,' she wrote Twitter.

Earlier this week, Sandi expressed her fears over the op.

'I'm quite nervous,' she told the Daily Record. 'I have developed lumps on my head and am having to get them cut out.

'Don't worry, it's not serious, but I have to get little patches of hair shaved off, which I'm not looking forward to.

'I don't mind the cutting and the blood and all that stuff but not the hair.

'Anyway it will grow back, so I shouldn't get too worked up about it.'

Sandi is engaged to music producer Jake Fields, 32.
