Ex-Corrie star Suranne Jones splits from long-term boyfriend

Actress says romance with plumber ran its course

Suranne Jones is single again

Suranne Jones's three-year relationship with boyfriend Lorenzo Giove has ended.

The former Coronation Street actress, 30, started dating the plumber in 2006 after a ten-year friendship.

But Suranne, who played Karen McDonald in the ITV soap, says the romance fizzled out.

‘There is no one else involved but unfortunately the relationship has just run its course,’ she tells the Sunday Mirror.

‘It just wasn’t meant to be. Deciding to end a relationship is never easy but we both felt this was for the best.’

Suranne was previously engaged to IT consultant Jim Phelan.
