Actor wants to spend more time with his family

Kyle MacLachlan is considering leaving Desperate Housewives.

The actor, who plays Orson Hodge, is tired of commuting from New York to LA, where the show's filmed.

‘It's getting more difficult going back and forth,’ says Kyle, 50. ‘I'll do the next series and see how it goes.’

Kyle wants to spend more time with wife Desiree and son Callum, 11 months.

‘It's such a huge change having children,’ he tells The Sun. ‘It's not about me any more - it's about my family.

‘Callum is an absolute joy - we're going to try for another so they can fight each other!’
