Sir Alan Sugar asked BBC bosses if he could give both Kate Walsh and Yasmina Siadatan a job.
The 62-year-old was so impressed with The Apprentice finalists that he struggled to make a decision.
‘Both Kate and Yasmina are very employable so I asked the BBC if we could throw a bit of a wobbly on things and employ them both,’ Sir Alan tells the Sunday Mirror.
‘Unfortunately the format is very clear and the promise is very clear - there is only one job.
'It was a real dilemma. They are both fantastic and by far the best finalists I've ever had.’
Sir Alan eventually chose Yasmina, 27, after the final task to design a box of chocolates.
