Susan Boyle's brother didn't attend the final of Britain's Got Talent.

John Boyle, 59, travelled to London ahead of Saturday’s final from West Lothian, Scotland.

But he chose to visit relatives instead of sitting in the audience.

‘I’ve been to the show before and, frankly, it’s quite boring,’ he says. ‘I took the decision not to go to the studio.

'I went to my niece’s house in London and spent the night there.

'It was a deliberate decision on my part. Susan had plenty people there backing her.

'I thought it was better to let the youngsters in the family go along instead.'

Meanwhile, Simon Cowell, 49, is reported plans to sign Susan, 48, to his SyCo label.

‘He doesn’t want to let such a talent go,’ a source tells the Daily Record.
