Aidan Davis and Hollie Steel through to Britain’s Got Talent final

10-year-old freezes and repeats performance

Hollie Steel's nerves overcame her on the live Britain's Got Talent semi-final

Hollie Steel froze on stage tonight during the 5th Britain's Got Talent 2009 live semi-final.

The 10-year-old was overcome with nerves as she sang Edelweiss but after she burst into tears, Simon Cowell agreed that Hollie could try again.

Her second attempt was good enough to win her a place in tomorrow's show.

Break dancer Aidan Davis, 12,and Hollie will join Julian Smith, 2 Grand, Stavros Flatley, Shaheen Jarfagholi, Flawless, Shaun Smith, Diversity and Susan Boyle in the Britain's Got Talent 2009 final.

The results were announced after special guest Paul Potts, Britain's Got Talent 2007 winner, performed on stage.

Ant & Dec stunned Aidan when they told him he'd got the most viewers' votes, then Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan chose between Greg Pritchard and Hollie.

Piers, Amanda and Simon all chose Hollie for her 'courage'.
