Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist Susan Boyle has been mentioned on The Simpsons.
In an episode entitled Springfield’s Got Talent, Homer Simpson reveals that he’s a huge fan of the Hairy Angel when he auditions for Simon Cowell, 49.
‘My name is Homer Simpson, I'm 39 years old and, well, I've never been kissed,’ he says. ‘My dream is to be a great singer like Susan Boyle.’
Susan, 48, has already been namechecked on adult cartoon South Park and has been interviewed by Oprah Winfrey, 55.
‘She watches [The Simpsons] and will be chuffed to bits to get a mention,’ her brother Gerry tells the Daily Record.
‘It is incredible how popular she has become in America. I haven't seen her for a few weeks because she's been so busy.’
Last night ITV viewers saw Susan voted through to the BGT live semi-finals with 39 other acts.
She faces strong competition from some very talented youngsters including Shaheen Jafargholi, 12, Hollie Steel, 10, and 11-year-old street dancer Aidan Davis.
