Sir Alan Sugar gives trainee stockbroker marching orders
Thursday, 21 May 2009
Ben Clarke became the latest contestant to be axed on The Apprentice last night.
The trainee stockbroker, 22, was given the boot after his Empire team lost the baby accessory selling task.
Sir Alan Sugar, 62, thought Ben had failed to realise his potential.
‘You think quite a lot of yourself,’ he said.
‘You over-hype yourself a little bit but at certain stages in this process I was seeing some quite bright light at the end of a long tunnel.
‘But I feel that the light at the end of the tunnel has gone out quite frankly. Ben, you’re fired.'
