Singer is ready to start dating again

Alesha Dixon is ready to move on following her divorce from MC Harvey.

The couple separated in 2006 when the former So Solid Crew member's affair with Javine Hylton, 27, was exposed.

Now Strictly Come Dancing winner Alesha, 30, insists she's over her heartbreak.

‘Naturally I was devastated when we split up,’ she tells Weekend Magazine. ‘You can’t be with someone for 6 years and get over them just like that.

'It takes a while to flush them out of your system. But I feel I’ve allowed myself to heal. I’ve stitched myself back up, you might say, and I’m in a good place. I am open now to meeting someone new.'
