COOL! Skins to be made into movie

Channel 4 also to release book

Kaya Scodelario plays the lead in Skins

Skins is to hit the big screen.

Channel 4 have confirmed that they plan to capitalise on the success of the E4 show.

There will also be a Skins spin-off book, reports The Sun

It’s not known if a new cast will be brought in for the movie as leads Kaya Scodelario, 17, and Jack O'Connell, 18, were just introduced in the last season.

The fourth series returns in 2010.
