Jackie Brambles is leaving Loose Women after three years at the helm.
The presenter announced her plans live on yesterday's show.
‘I initially wanted to cut down my workload on Loose Women but the anchor role requires a full commitment, which I no longer felt able to make,’ said Jackie, 42.
‘Therefore, I’ve decided that I will be leaving the show in August when my current contract ends.
‘As well as having some more time to be at home with my two very young children I will be focusing on developing some exciting new ventures in broadcasting and related areas.’
Show bosses have paid tribute to Jackie.
‘Jackie’s contribution to Loose Women has been immense,’ ITV’s Fiona Keenaghan tells The Sun.
‘Over the past few years she has helped mould the show into the success it is today.
'She will be missed by everyone and we would like to wish her all the best for the future.’

I am so very sorry to see Jackie leave Loose Women. She has grown from strength to strength and gives some 'class' to the show. Always the lady and always in control. I really enjoy her. Good Luck for your future Jackie whatever you may do. You deserve it. Thank you for many, many hours of happy viewing with Loose Women.
Sorry to see jackie leave love the programme it is like popping in for lunch with a bunch of very good friends carry on the good work and best wishes for the furture hope to see you on screen soon jackie
Jackie is a beautiful individula who brings natural calm and discussion to the show 'Loose women'. It would be great if the show broadened their repertoire and had a range of women from differing backgrounds, as I feel this is truly not represented currently.
