Mathew Horne's feeling much better

Mathew Horne was back in hospital last night - a week after he fainted during his West End play.

The Gavin And Stacey star, 30, saw a doctor after he collapsed at the Trafalgar Studios Theatre.

He passed out on stage as he performed Entertaining Mr Sloane, and was later told he had a virus.

A spokesman for Mat insists yesterday's visit to a medical centre was for a routine check-up. 

'Mat is okay,' a source tells the Daily Mirror.

'It's not unusual for actors performing in bright lights, in front of 500 people each night, to need some time off to rest. He'll be fine.'

Co-star Imelda Staunton, 53, was also taken ill.
