Steve Jones to host new BBC quiz show

Fern Britton and Jason Manford will be team captains

Steve Jones will present a new quiz show based on cult 1990s programme Telly Addicts.

Steve, 32, will be joined by team captains Fern Britton, 51, and Jason Manford, 27.

'It is a pleasure to announce the commissioning of As Seen On TV, which is a fun and exciting new format for Friday nights,' says the BBC's Mark Linsey.

'With Steve Jones at the helm and Fern and Jason at his side this show will offer telly fans an opportunity to test their TV knowledge along with a wealth of celebrity guests.'

The show, which is being made by Shine TV, will start filming in the summer.

It was tipped to be called You Have Been Watching.
