Ben Fogle is having chemotherapy because his flesh-eating disease has come back.

The presenter, 35, got leishmaniasis after he was bitten by a sandfly in Peru last summer.

'I am facing six weeks of chemotherapy and going to hospital for several hours a day to be put on drips to treat this condition,' he tells The Sun.

'I am really frustrated as I am normally so active.'

Ben trekked 500 miles to the South Pole with Olympic rower James Cracknell in December.
