Gemma Bissix to return to Hollyoaks

Actress to make a surprise comeback

Gemma Bissix won Best Exit at The British Soap Awards in 2008 for her role in Hollyoaks

Gemma Bissix will appear in Hollyoaks in dramatic scenes to be aired at the end of May.

The actress, 25, left the teen soap in 2007 after driving her car off a cliff.

Gemma, who plays evil Clare Devine, is part of an explosive storyline that sees Jamie Lomas (Warren Fox) and Chris Fountain (Justin Burton) leave the show.

Clare is thought to be behind the fire at The Loft that traps her two former enemies.

Gemma, returned to EastEnders after leaving Hollyoaks, and took part in Dancing On Ice.
