OMG! Simon Cowell themed show planned for American Idol?

Contestants may end up singing his favourite tunes

Britain's Got Talent judge Simon Cowell split from Terri Seymour last year

American Idol bosses could dedicate an entire episode to Simon Cowell.

Contestants on the hit US show tackle different themes each week, like they do on The X Factor.

They performed Britney Spears, Mariah Carey and disco songs last year.

And now they may have to belt out Simon's favourite tunes.

Simon, 49, is also a judge on Britain’s Got Talent.

American Idol airs on ITV2 on Thursdays and Fridays.
