But Little Britain star has never had a relationship with a man

David Walliams admits he has questioned his sexuality.
The Little Britain star is heterosexual but has prompted media speculation about his personal life.
‘I play lots of camp and sometimes gay characters,’ he says. ‘But I've never had a relationship with a man.
‘Because I am effeminate I have asked myself, “Am I gay?”. But I so love being with women, and women's bodies I think, “No, I can't be”. Sometimes I think it would be easier if I was - because everyone thinks I am.’
David, 37, has found it difficult to find the perfect partner.
‘There has never been love while I've been famous,’ he admitted on BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs. ‘I haven't been in love, not a love that's been requited, for about seven years.
‘I can’t stand being on my own. I hate it. When I’m with my own thoughts I start to unravel and I start to think real dark thoughts, self-destructive thoughts. If someone said, “You have to spend a weekend on your own”, I couldn’t hack it.’
