Actress is moving on from hit US drama

Nicolette Sheridan is leaving Desperate Housewives, US network ABC confirms.
The actress has played Edie Britt in the hit show since 2004.
Producers are yet to reveal when or how Nicolette will be written out of the programme.
But US reports have hinted her character could be killed off.
Last season, Edie moved from Wisteria Lane – only to return when the show moved forward five years.
Nicolette, 45, split from fiancé Michael Bolton, 55, in August 2008.
