SHOCK! Rihanna ‘suffered bite marks during alleged assault’

Singer was apparently treated in hospital following row with Chris Brown

Rihanna has been dating Chris Brown since last year

US reports claim Rihanna suffered 'horrific injuries' after allegedly being assaulted by boyfriend Chris Brown.

The couple were apparently seen rowing in the Hancock Park area of LA on Sunday, just hours before the Grammy Awards.

Police were called to the scene and took photos of Rihanna's injuries, which allegedly included bite marks on her arms and fingers, a split lip, swelling and bruising, reports TMZ.

Chris, 19, turned himself into police later that evening and was booked on a charge of making criminal threats.

He remains under investigation for felony charges of domestic violence.
