Strictly Come Dancing judge reckons the ex-model got a raw deal
Sunday, 1 February 2009
Craig Revel Horwood has slammed the Britain’s Got Talent producers for axing Kelly Brook.
The glamour model left the ITV show just 6 days into filming.
Craig, 44, reckons bosses wouldn’t have had a problem if they hadn’t rushed into hiring Kelly, 29.
‘That was stupid,’ he tells Now Online! ‘You test people first before you offer them the gig. I felt sorry for her. It’s public humiliation.
‘I think it’s just appalling to employ someone, publicise the whole thing and then suddenly whip it away from them.’
But Craig commends Simon Cowell’s decision to bring in Cheryl Cole, 25, on The X Factor.
‘I think she livened it up,’ he adds. ‘But I thought she cried way too much.’
Craig’s new musical production of Sunset Boulevard is running at the Comedy Theatre until 18 April 2009.
