Widow gets close to man who killed her husband

Coronation Street's Maria Connor has an affair with Tony Gordon.
The pregnant widow, played by Samia Smith, has been battling with the factory boss since she realised he killed her husband Liam.
But things take a drastic turn when Maria starts to fall for Tony's lies.
'Maria strikes up an unlikely friendship with Tony,' a source tells The Sun.
'With Carla missing from his life he thinks it is a chance to make amends for what he did to Liam.'
Tony's wife Carla (Alison King) leaves the street for several months, and the pair get it on.
'The writers held secret talks last week to discuss how to go about it - because they know it could come across as far-fetched,' says the source.
'But all the hints of a budding relationship will be put in place over the next months.'
Maria was seen attempting to run over Tony in last night's show.
