Four-piece band JLS have signed a record contract with Epic.

Marvin Humes, 23, Jonathan "JB" Gill, 21, Ortise Williams, 21 and Aston Merrygold, 20 – came second to Alexandra Burke, 20, in The X Factor final last year.

'JLS are the best boyband to emerge from a TV talent show,' says Nick Raphael of Epic Records.

Simon Cowell, 49, claimed JLS, who were mentored by Louis Walsh, 56, were the best group to ever feature on the show.
