Sinitta: Simon Cowell brought out the possessive woman in me

Singer lifts the lid on their stormy relationship

Simon Cowell and Sinitta have remained good friends

Sinitta admits that Simon Cowell brought out her jealous streak when they were together.

The singer dated The X Factor judge on and off for years.

But she says their relationship was tempestuous.

‘He brought out the possessive woman in me,’ she admits.

‘Even before he was Simon Cowell, the big mogul, women were attracted to him, and as a young girl dating him, I felt terribly threatened because he was always such a flirt.’

Sinitta, 42, who is now mum to adopted kids Magdalena, 3, and Zac, 2, with estranged husband Andy Willner, is glad that she and Simon are still friends.

‘Now, although I love Simon dearly, my heart is not controlled by whether he’s been naughty or has a wondering eye anymore,' she tells Hello!

'In many ways he is an ideal partner. What makes him not ideal is that he's reluctant to be true to one woman at the moment. But never say never.'

Simon, 49, split up with girlfriend Terri Seymour, 34, earlier this year.
