Robbie Williams: I'll be on Strictly Come Dancing

Singer wants to hit the dance floor

Robbie Williams is also thinking about rejoining his old band Take That

Robbie Williams hopes to take part in the next series of Strictly Come Dancing.

The singer has been out of the limelight while living in the States but plans to move back to the UK.

‘You can expect me on Celebrity Come Dancing towards the end of summer next year,’ he says.

Robbie, 34, who has been in LA for five years, wants to start work on a new album too.

‘I'm going into the studio at the end of January to get it ready,’ he writes on his blog. ‘I had to go away, how could anybody miss you when you're always there?

‘But I've had enough [of LA] for now. It was my recent trip to England that did it. I felt plugged in. Roots! I really miss it. For all its crap weather, I need to be among Brits again.

‘Back in Blighty I listened to the radio in the car, watched what and who was on the telly and then it all came back. Ambition that is - I wanted to put an album out the next day.’
