Tom Cruise could give Father Christmas a run for his money

Tom Cruise has spent thousands of pounds of his own cash on homeless families.

The actor filled a lorry with gifts and donated them to the charity Stockings With Care.

Tom, 46, roped in wife Katie Holmes, 29, and daughter Suri, 2, to choose presents from a New York toy store.

‘He was clearly enjoying himself and must love Christmas and helping out others,’ says a source.

The trio picked out games, teddies, dolls and DVDs.
