Pete Wentz: I named my baby after The Jungle Book

Musician and wife Ashlee bonded over story

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz got married at her mum and dad's home in May

Pete Wentz says his newborn baby is named after the boy in The Jungle Book.

The Fall Out Boy bassist, 29, and wife Ashlee Simpson, 24, had Bronx Mowgli last month.

And he was keen to call him something original.

‘The Jungle Book was something that me and Ashlee bonded over,’ he told radio host Ryan Seacrest after the birth.

‘It's a cool name. We came up with the idea Bronx. We've been throwing [ideas] back and forth a while.'

'People are stoked or pissed or whatever. And you're like, you know what: I don't think anyone really has the real story of why or how.’
