Robbie Williams: I’m going to look for aliens underwater

Singer will search for other life forms in Santa Catalina

Robbie Williams is rumoured to be joining Take That on tour next year

Robbie Williams is planning a trip to the Californian coast to find aliens.

The 34-year-old singer is hoping to find USOs – Unidentified Submerged Objects – in the sea.

‘I heard about these sightings at Malibu of things going into the water,' he says. 'I thought it would be quite exciting to be on a very small object very high over the ocean floor knowing there might be something down there.

‘We're renting some jet skis and we are going to go from Marina Del Rey to Catalina.'

Robbie admits he's always believed that we're not alone in the universe.

‘I was raised in a house where my mum was very much into Tarot cards,’ he tells Above Top Secret. ‘She did readings and consulted psychics.

'I’ve been around all kinds of myths and legends. I’ve been actively encouraged to indulge in this kind of stuff and I’ve been interested in it for a very long time.’

He's even converted girlfriend Ayda Field, 29, to his cause.

‘It has changed my perspective on the world,' she reveals. 'Once you’re exposed to it, it’s impossible to go back to thinking about things in the same way.’
