Feisty Spaniard goes home following lame guest appearance by Britney Spears

Ruth Lorenzo was voted off The X Factor last night in an amazing evening which saw both Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears appear as guest stars.
The Spanish singer got the least number of public votes in Week 8, which featured no sing-off between the bottom two.
It was entirely down to the viewers to decide who stayed and who didn't.
To kick of The X Factor results show, host Dermot O'Leary introduced 'the one and only' Britney, 26, who performed Womanizer 'live' - though she mimed all the way through - in the skimpiest of black satin shorts with a troupe of dancers.
Then Dermot announced who'd got through to the semi-final.
First were an astonished JLS - who hadn't had their best night - then Alexandra Burke and Diana Vickers - followed by Eoghan Quigg.
Which left 25-year-old Ruth eliminated from the contest.

i think British people are stone deaf..or maybe ignorant to who really got a talent and can run the show...Ruth Lorenzo rocks...they are voting for a nonsense singer...how many X-factor wiiner never made it to the top? or maybe had made it to the top with one single hit? and gone forever. tsk tsk sad thing...
An absolute disgrace.. Won't get over it, the x-factor is just a sham now i think.. Don't want to watch it any more.Ruth was my fave and gave the performance of a lifetime tonight and who can forget purple rain knocking on heavens door, angels and the list goes on.. I love Eoghan but come on!!! how the hell is high school musical a better performance than Ruths amazing version of jon bons always.... JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love you Ruth!!! xxx
