Unlikely lovers Luke Marsden and Bex Shiner look at Hatton Garden rocks

Reality TV’s oddest couple, Big Brother’s Luke Marsden and Bex Shiner, both 21, have been shopping for an engagement ring.
Their whirlwind romance, which began earlier this year in the BB9 house, has gone from strength to strength since nerdy Luke and larger-than-life Bex left the show in the summer.
But the lovebirds’ attempt to find a ring in London’s jewellery quarter Hatton Garden didn’t go smoothly.
Bex set her heart on a £250,000 diamond sparkler, but Luke couldn’t afford it. Bex then had a hissy fit and refused to settle for anything else.
‘I’d have to work for two years to earn that sort of money,’ Luke protested, before they abandoned their shopping trip.
A close friend reveals: ‘They still plan to get engaged – when Bex can settle on a ring that’s in Luke’s price range.
'They’re very much in love and determined to spend the rest of their lives together, but as you might imagine Bex has her heart set on a fairytale wedding and Luke’s worried that he won’t be able to afford it.’
The pair, who are both trying to build careers in TV, moved in together in London in September and hope they’ll be able to afford to marry by the end of next year. ‘I’m literally saving my pennies,’ admitted Luke.
