The X Factor judge says they are good friends

Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell have been judges on all 5 series of the X Factor

Louis Walsh has revealed he considers Simon Cowell his closest pal.

The X Factor judge, 56, says the pair are firm friends despite their rows on the ITV1 show.

‘Simon is Simon,’ he tells Live magazine. ‘He takes the piss. But he’s funny and he only does it because he knows you can take it.

‘People think we hate each other because we say terrible things, but he’s my best mate. And he’s a good guy, too.’
