Cheryl Cole is said to be outraged after Laura White was voted off The X Factor at the weekend.
The 25-year-old judge was shocked when her act, who was second favourite to win the show, was placed in the bottom 2 by the public vote.
Then Laura had to leave after Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue all voted to save Ruth Lorenzo, 25, in the sing-off.
‘I actually feel numb. I feel shocked. I think it might have been a bit tactical, if I’m totally honest,’ she later revealed on The Xtra Factor.
Cheryl is thought to have felt Louis voting off Laura was 'personal'.
‘Cheryl was incandescent with rage and let her feelings be known,’ a source tells The Mirror.
‘She was absolutely furious and was giving him what for. No one has ever seen her so angry but she is really passionate about her acts.’
Laura, 21, spoke of her mentor’s fury at a press conference following her departure.
‘Cheryl was really angry last night,’ she admitted. ‘She doesn’t know whether it was a personal thing from Louis or what.
'I think she’s just really upset because she feels I was one of the strongest singers and she feels robbed.’
Simon, 49, said he was shocked by the outcome of the public vote, branding it 'a joke'.
