Judges angry as John Sergeant is saved again
Monday, 10 November 2008
Heather Small became the eighth contestant voted off Strictly Come Dancing last night.
The former M People singer, 43, was in the bottom two for the fourth time despite her and partner Brian Fortuna, 26, receiving praise from the judges.
Tango is an actor's dance, and I saw drama and passion, Len Goodman remarked.
The judges expressed their anger after John Sergeant, 64, was saved again by the public despite scoring just 12 out of 40.
Im spitting feathers, I'm appalled and disgusted. I dont understand it. Its a dancing competition, Bruno Tonioli tells The Sun.
Heather was voted off after being pitted against favourite Rachel Stevens, 30, and her partner Vincent Simone, 29, in the dance off.
I enjoyed it, it's been a ball, she says. I feel like a winner because I've enjoyed it so much and I've met such a great young man in Brian.
