Housemate charged with carrying an offensive weapon

Alexandra De Gale was kicked out of the Big Brother house because of her aggressive behaviour

Big Brother 9 contestant Alexandra De Gale appeared in court last Friday on knife charges.

The 23-year-old mum, who was kicked out of the reality TV house because of her bullying behaviour, is accused of waving the weapon during a row with 3 women near her Croydon home.

'It appears Miss De Gale was involved in an altercation outside her home,’ prosecutor Peter Bonham says.

‘She had been someone who had been on a television programme and had been known in regard to that.

'Whatever the nature of the confrontation, and things that were said, it appears she came back into her home and came back carrying a large knife.'

The contestant denies the charges, claiming she was attacked by the women.

Alex has been bailed to appear at a later date.
