Simon Cowell thinks Cheryl Cole will win The X Factor this year

Simon Cowell has revealed that he thinks Cheryl Cole will win this series of The X Factor.

The judge, 49, admitted that the 25-year-old Girls Aloud star has the best contestants in the show.

‘He knows Cheryl’s acts really have got the X Factor,’ a source tells The Mirror. ‘He is going to fight until the end and is by no means throwing in the towel.

‘But he was impressed with what Cheryl did with the girls and congratulated her through gritted teeth.’

Cheryl’s 3 contestants are the bookies favourites to win, with Laura White, 17, the 2-1 frontrunner.

Laura, Alexandra Burke, 19, and Diana Vickers, 17, impressed the judges with their performance on the first live show.
