Boyzone star doesn't rule out playing Ciaran McCarthy again

Keith Duffy was in Coronation Street for a year

Keith Duffy has revealed that he could return to Weatherfield in the future.

The Boyzone star, 34, played Ciaran McCarthy in Coronation Street, before leaving in 2005.

‘The character was never killed off,' he says. ‘They left it open for me going back.

'I'm still quite close to the producers in Corrie – in fact, I visited them not ago while Boyzone were in Manchester, so one day…’

Boyzone recently completed a UK reunion tour.

‘My time right now is obviously dedicated to the lads and we're having a great time,’ Keith tells ITV.com.

‘We're really enjoying ourselves. But everything comes to an end eventually, so if it does I'll get Ciaran out of the closet.’
