Vernon Kay: There's no such thing as a modern man

TV presenter reckons all blokes are cave men at heart

Vernon Kay insists that guys don't have a feminine side and the idea of metrosexual man is a myth.

‘There's no such thing,' says 34-year-old Vernon. ‘All of the "modern man" things are on the surface.

'Deep down we're all still hunter-gatherers. We like scratching our nuts and watching football.'

Wife Tess Daly, 37, agrees.  

‘Vern's such a typical bloke - there's no metrosexual in him,' she tells Cosmopolitan. ‘Our most recurring argument is about sport on TV. It drives me mad.'
