An internet blogger is being prosecuted under the Obscene Publication Act for writing sick stories about Girls Aloud.

Darryn Walker was arrested in July after a year-long investigation into his site, which allegedly described the rape and murder of Cheryl Cole, 25, Sarah Harding, 26, Nadine Coyle, 23, Kimberley Walsh, 26, and Nicola Roberts, 22.

The blogs were said to be so graphic that the Internet Watch Foundation alerted police.

‘The test is whether the material is likely to deprave or corrupt those reading it,’ a Scotland Yard spokesperson tells The Sun.

The blog, which is said to have included scenes of torture and kidnap, was entitled Girls (Scream) Aloud.

Darryn, 35, was granted unconditional bail at Newcastle Crown Court and will appear before magistrates later this month.
