Lisa is having a tough time on Strictly Come Dancing
Saturday, 11 October 2008
Juggling training for Strictly Come Dancing with her job co-presenting the Capital Breakfast Show with Johnny Vaughan is pretty tough for Lisa Snowdon.
She's not getting enough sleep and, Lisa, 37, was thumped by dance partner Brendan Cole.
'Brendan is so encouraging and he really pushes me,' she explains. 'It’s definitely full-on, we’re learning in just six weeks what the dancers have been doing for 10 years.
'It was in the middle of routine when he punched me in the face - I had to ice it. We were doing a spin at the same time and he whacked me.'
George Clooney's ex is having to put up with a lof of pain.
'I have to wear stilettos for three hours each time and I have so many blisters,' Lisa tells Now. 'But I love dressing up for the show. That’s my favourite part of Strictly when I watch it.
'I love all the sparkles and colours and I like the fact that there are so many different styles for all the different dances. It’s brilliant!'
Lisa has a stunning figure but is a bit worried about some of the more revealing costumes.
'I really don’t want to show too much,' she admits. 'I’m a bit scared of wearing my salsa dress – it’s a bit too revealing. It has cutouts on the tummy and I wanted to cover my belly as it’s not completely toned.
'I prefer a low-cut back. I think it’s really sexy.'

Hello Lisa - You were fabulous on Strictly Come Dancing. My favourite all the way through and you should have won. (My granddaughter looks like you - she is 19)!
