Dannii Minogue: I did not threaten to leave The X Factor

Judge speaks out at claims of jealousy with Cheryl Cole

Dannii Minogue has spoken out against rumours she threatened to quit The X Factor because she doesn’t get along with newcomer Cheryl Cole.

‘I’m not jealous. I’m not furious. We are all one big happy family,’ she says.

It was claimed Dannii, 36, was upset 25-year-old Cheryl was getting more airtime and that her people had complained to X Factor producers.

But she dismissed this saying: 'I missed 2 audition days as I was filming Australia's Got Talent on the other side of the world.

'For this reason it may appear to some that I'm missing from the show. This is for the simple reason that I wasn't there!' 

A source tells The Sun: 'There has been no big row between Dannii and Cheryl, but Dannii’s people asked for her to be included a bit more in the editing process.

‘The girls aren’t best friends. They have never pretended to be close but there is no way Dannii is going.’

The final 24 hopefuls were revealed last Sunday.
