Fiona Phillips has revealed she’d love Kelly Osbourne to replace her on GMTV.
The breakfast TV presenter, 47, thinks the 23-year-old would be perfect.
‘I hear that Kelly Osbourne has been given odds of 50 to one,’ she tells Hello!. ‘I’d certainly like to see her. Or maybe Lily Allen? They could install a crate of champagne in the green room and let her loose!’
Fiona, who announced last month that she's leaving the show at Christmas, also made a veiled dig at colleague Kate Garraway, 41, who is thought to covet the job.
Explaining why she thinks they need to hire someone young, she says: ‘They don’t need some knackered old warhorse – not wishing to do down my 40-something female colleagues.'
Myleene Klass, 30, Ulrika Jonsson, 41 and Jenni Falconer, 32, are all rumoured to be in the frame.
