Jack Ryder joins The Archers

Former EastEnder to star in Radio 4 soap

Jack Ryder played Jamie Mitchell for 4 years in EastEnders

Jack Ryder is swapping the East End for Ambridge with his latest role.

The former EastEnders star is joining the cast of Radio 4 drama The Archers for a 3-month stint.

The 26-year-old played Jamie Mitchell in the BBC1 soap before leaving in 2002.

Jack, who split with wife Kym Marsh, 31, in March after 6 years of marriage, makes his debut in The Archers on 29 September.
