Jamie Lynn Spears is delighted Britney is getting her life back together

Jamie Lynn Spears is thrilled that big sister Britney scooped 3 gongs at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The new mum, 17, who gave birth to first child Maddie Briann Aldridge in June, was overjoyed to see her sibling present the show.

‘Good job, Brit,’ Jamie Lynn wrote on her Facebook page. ‘I thought you looked amazing.’

Britney, 26, was awarded Video Of The Year, Best Female Video and Best Pop Video at the ceremony in LA on Sunday night.

Paris Hilton, 27, also praised the star, telling Us Weekly: ‘She looked beautiful. I'm so happy for her. She definitely deserves it.’
