Actor reveals the extent of his on-set pranks

Ricky Whittle enjoys a few practical jokes

Hollyoaks star Ricky Whittle loves to mess around when he and his co-stars are shooting the hit C4 TV series.

The 27-year-old actor, who plays cop Calvin Valentine in the show, especially likes to wind up Jamie Lomas.

‘When the camera is on him I’ll be holding his crotch,’ Ricky tells Now Online in an exclusive interview.

‘We did this one scene where he was supposed to whisper to me and he licked my ear instead – we’re always doing stuff like that.’

Jamie, 33, who is currently dating Coronation Street star Kim Ryder, and Ricky first met on the set of Sky One show Dream Team and their friendship has just got stronger now they're in the same soap.

‘We just turn into schoolboys and get the giggles,’ says Ricky. ‘We’re forever getting told off.’
