Louisa Lytton has announced she's quitting The Bill.

The actress, 19, is leaving her role as PC Beth Green after joining the ITV show in January 2007.

‘I'm only in The Bill until October, then it's finished,' Louisa tells The People.

‘As yet, I don't know what I am going to do next.’

Louisa starred as Ruby Allen in EastEnders for 18 months before moving to the police drama.

She also appeared on BBC programme Strictly Come Dancing.

‘She has chosen not to renew her contract when it ends later this year,’ says a spokesman for The Bill.

‘Louisa has decided to move on after two years to try new things.’
