Actress says they're both fine after crash

Isabel Lucas has spoken out about the car crash she was in with co-star Shia LaBeouf.

The actress, 23, was getting a lift home with the actor last month when his car smashed into an oncoming vehicle and flipped over twice.

But she says his hand, which was severely damaged, is on the mend.

‘We're both fine, and Shia's fine as well,’ she tells Access Hollywood. ‘His hand is healing well.’

It is thought the injury will be written into the script of Transformers 2.

Shia, 22, was arrested for suspected drink driving shortly after the incident.

But the other driver was apparently to blame for ignoring a red light.

Shia's rep says reports he needs to have his finger amputated are false.
