Coronation Street’s Carla Connor is to become a mum.

Actress Alison King is expecting her first baby with partner Adam Huckett - a sound assistant on the ITV show.

Alison, 35, who joined the programme in 2006, is 3 months pregnant.

‘Alison and Adam are over the moon - they're thrilled and delighted,’ a show spokeswoman tells the Daily Mirror.

The baby is due in February.
