Christian Bale is said to have got into a row with his mum after she allegedly insulted his wife Sibi Blazic.

The Batman star was questioned by police following claims he assaulted Jenny, 61, and sister Sharon, 41, at London’s Dorchester Hotel on Sunday evening.

He has strongly denied the allegations and a source close to the actor insist he didn’t get physical.

‘Christian was stressed, but he didn’t lay a finger on anyone,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.

‘Instead, he flew off the handle and cussed his mother.

‘He got very loud because she was saying outrageous things about him and his wife.’

Christian, 34, who was bailed until September, attended the premiere of The Dark Knight in Spain yesterday.

He and Sibi, 38, have been married since 2000.
